  • RCMI, 426 University Ave., Toronto ON M5G 1S9

OVERVIEW

As Cadburys states “Ethics concern an individual's moral judgements about right and wrong. Decisions taken within an organization may be made by individuals or groups, but whoever makes them will be influenced by the culture of the company. The decision to behave ethically is a moral one; employees must decide what they think is the right course of action. This may involve rejecting the route that would lead to the biggest short-term profit.”  Time and again we see instances where companies act without consideration to what is ethically right.

In this two part talk Dave will look at case studies where companies have failed to act ethically, and the results that followed, and how companies can best address ethics within its own organization to help them “do the right thing”
