OVERVIEW

Ross will review a liquor stealing case, an abuse of authority termination, theft of time and the Muffin man, leaving you with something to chew on.

He will examine employer goal setting and how it drives information collection, interview strategies and employer reactions. Often, criminal conviction is not relevant.

From a lawyer’s perspective, he will answer the question, what is the fraud examiner supposed to do?

THE PRESENTER…. Ross Dunsmore has been advising employers and litigating the termination of bad employees for over 40 years. He is one of the most experienced employer counsel in the country. He has seen a lot of devious conduct in both the unionized and common law settings.

He thinks that proactive employers are controlling misconduct better.

He thinks that common law firings occur faster so cases are not made.

He thinks everyone wants to cut to the chase these days.

These trends have consequences for investigators.
