Toronto, ON: The ACFE-GTA Chapter announced today that it has become a Silver Sponsor for the 2024 GTA Anti-Money Laundering Symposium that is hosted by York Regional Police on October 23 and 24, 2024. Money Laundering is "a fraud in progress" and constitutes a significant threat to world economies and the security of nations.

The goal of the Second Annual GTA Anti-Money Laundering Symposium is to bring together the AML community (including financial institutions; fin-techs; money services businesses; law enforcement agencies; lottery, casino and gaming organizations; government regulators and other government agencies and professional associations) to learn about the latest issues and share best practices on how to identify, track and mitigate money laundering and other financial crimes, and most importantly, to network. The Symposium will feature two days of presentations and an evening networking reception.
