Toronto, ON: The ACFE-GTA Chapter, which serves the Greater Toronto Area, Central and Southern Ontario, opened registration for its "2025 Training Program" today.
Astra Williamson, the Chapter Senior Vice-President & Chief Learning Officer states, "By announcing the 2025 CPE Training Program now, our Certified Fraud Examiners can schedule their time to make sure they are able to earn the required 20 continuing professional education credits needed to maintain their CFE credential. CFEs can choose their 20 CPE credits from the 27 CPE credits being offered this year. And, these CPE credits may be used to fulfill the continuing education requirements of other related credentials and designations that our CFEs maintain.
"We are incredibly pleased to be able to announce an average 20% price decrease on the overall package of 2025 courses. Depending upon a person's interests, time constraints, and course selections, if a GTA Chapter Member or Affiliate selects courses leading to 20 CPE credits, they will pay $313 in total, which represents an average cost of $15.65 per CPE credit. For those who are not Members or Affiliates of the GTA Chapter, taking the same collection of courses will cost $466, which represents an average cost of $23.30 per CPE credit.
"So, it really pays to be a GTA Chapter Member, as folks who are not members or affiliates of the GTA Chapter pay approximately $150 more for the same selection of training.
Mark McManus, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the GTA Chapter knows there is great interest by all those combating financial crime to continue developing their skills and knowledge. "We welcome anyone who is involved in combating fraud and other financial crimes to join us for this year's training program. Attendance is made simple through the Zoom platform. Also, our annual Networking Event is an excellent way to maintain existing professional relationships, and to make new acquaintances that can help one's career progression."
